Participation of clean energies in Mexico will reach 33% in 2020: Expert

From 2013 to 2020, the installed capacity of clean energy in Mexico rose from 26 to 33 percent, said Abigail González, director of the Mechanical Systems division of the National Institute of Electricity and Clean Energy.


Participating in the forum Energy Innovation Days. Leading the way to a Decarbonized Energy System, she commented that at the same time, Mexico's energy requirements have increased from 60 to 80 gigawatts, in terms of installed capacity.
